About Last Night….

Categories

I beg your indulgence with this posting. This was too delish not to share, a perfect illustration of so many things. Back way out of the box with me on this one and try to see the biggest point, let the little ones go - see the pattern of how we are manipulated by the people who would be kings, and how easy it is.

I got permission.

Alison Bell Guys, this was a set up to make us think. To think about just the splintered factions amongst us in our tiny little group.....

Gary Heffern if that is really true Alison Bell i would be truly insulted. i think we all know that there are splintered factions amongst us. it would be naive to think that we would all be on the same page all the time.

Alison Bell This is the entire issue!!! None of us can speak the language of peace. None of us really truly know the FACTS. I doubt we really ever will. But do you know how to beat that game? With peace in your heart. As long as people want ideology over love we will be divided and as long as we are divided, we can be manipulated to do whatever their plan is.

What you are missing is the fact that we will ALWAYS be divided. No matter if it is from a religious standpoint to a political - all the way down to the petty things such as how to make proper tea.......We know we are divided - we don't need reminders of that after such a huge defeat to peace...What we do need is a reminder of what makes us the same, what brings us together......This douche bag Bara didn't even try to hide his racism, that isn't what we need right now, right now, we need to be together, stand together and come up with something that works for everyone..........

Alison Bell You just stated what I did. See? We both have the same idea. We need to figure out how to stand together with our lovely differences. We need peace from a place that says, I don't care how you drink your tea, I still like you. Peace brother. Or to be Star Trek-ian about it, IDIC: Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combination.

Gordon Rupe And that is part of my larger point - to quote The Beatles...'Come Together' ....And that dude Bara and Kerry were not any kind of example of coming together.......They were driving us further apart......Bara with his M&M's and Kerry with her "You are all stupid..."

Alison Bell It was a fine illustration to us of how even our small community, who has more information than most, can't come together, and how easy it is to distract us from answering the question of "what's going on here??"

Gordon Rupe Alison Bell Division - we are being divided on the issues of Race, Religion and Class...It is that simple.

Alison Bell Yes. Because we find it so hard to look into the eyes of another and see their soul - hell we can't even look into our own eyes in a mirror and see our own souls....

Gordon Rupe No - not really...this is information we ALREADY KNEW......a beautiful outcome would have been some sort of enlightenment, which, cannot happen since this is all preexisting information....Personal enlightenment is another issue all together.

Alison Bell this was enlightening! it shed light on the fact that we all need to work on this! They were divided on the air, which divided us as the listeners which is now dividing us today. that's why it is beautiful. its casting light on the whole situation....

  1. Interesting illustration, Allison. Who was right? Neither sounded entirely convinced of the invincibility of his or her position. To know is to be certain, and certainty is strength in any language or culture. Perception is always temporary in every language and culture. As an attribute of your species belief in time and space, your human perception is subject either to fear or to love. Your misperceptions produce fear and your true perceptions foster love, but neither brings any of you certainty because all of your perceptions vary.

True perception is the basis for knowledge, but knowing is the affirmation of truth and beyond all perceptions. Humanity wants to know truth. The question it immediately leaps to in this statement is ‘How does humanity know the truth is authentic?’ Interesting. This is your world. We already know the answer. So the question in your hearts really becomes, ‘Do we wish to proceed?’

All human difficulties stem from the fact that you do not recognize yourselves, your brothers and sisters, or God. To recognize means to “know again,” implying that you knew somewhere. Sometime…before. We all can see in many different ways because each of our perceptions involves interpretation, but all this means is that our perceptions are often lacking in wholeness or consistency. Time and space. Space and time. Since human perceptions change, their dependence on time is obvious. How human beings perceive at any given time determines what they do, and actions must occur in time. Knowledge is timeless, because certainty is not questionable. You ‘know’ when you have ceased to ask questions.

The questioning mind, (and all of you have one) perceives itself in time, and therefore looks for future answers. The closed mind believes the future and the present will be the same. This establishes a seemingly stable state that is usually an attempt to counteract an underlying fear that the future will be worse than the present. This fear inhibits the tendency to ask any questions at all.

The perception all of you desire so deeply is born of spiritual sight, not through the lens of a telescope or microscope. And in this moment, your spiritual sight is mostly only symbolic, and therefore not a device you could use for knowing, or for that matter, perceiving . It is, however, a means of perception, albeit an extremely common one among you. But that conversation is for a different day. A “vision of God” would be a miracle to all of you, rather than a revelation. And you would all likely dispute it even in the moment it occurs by trying to explain it away. The fact that perception is involved at all removes the experience from the realm of knowledge. That is why moments when you perceive your life as having been spared by what you cannot see, however holy that moment may have been, it did not, and could not last.

Your Bible of Christianity tells you to know yourself, or to be certain. The Quran of Islam says to do the same. Each religion does. Because any certainty you may know in life is only and always of God. Certainty does not require action. Nor does it ask for vengeance. When any of you say you are acting on the basis of knowledge, you are really and clearly confusing knowledge with your perception of things you actually may know very little about. We are all the same in this. Knowledge provides the strength to all of us for creative thinking, but it gives us nothing for right doing. Knowledge is the result of revelation and induces only thought. Even in its most spiritualized form, perception involves the body. Knowledge comes from the Spirit within us, and is timeless because it is certain. But you know this too; ‘to perceive’ the truth is not necessarily the same as ‘to know’ it.

God is not a stranger to His Children. And His Children are not strangers to each other. Knowledge preceded both perception and time, and will ultimately replace them. That is the real meaning of “Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end,” and “Before Abraham was I am.” Perception can and must be changed in this world if this planet is to have hope. In your heart, each of you know this. “Fear God and keep His commandments” must become become “Know God and accept His certainty.”

When there are no more questions to answer we will all know. Won’t we….
